I have spent twelve years around mobile businesses — mobile bars, coffee trailers, tap trucks, photo booths and mobile shops — and helped hundreds of owners get from an idea to a booked, permitted, insured business.
In that time I have watched the same preventable mistakes cost people thousands of dollars. A trailer built with the wrong materials that cannot pass a health inspection. A hand wash sink cut from the layout to save space. A liquor liability policy nobody mentioned until a venue asked for the certificate. A pricing sheet that looked profitable and quietly lost money on every single booking.
None of these are hard problems. They are just problems nobody warns you about, because the people who know are busy running their own businesses. The information exists, scattered across county websites, forum threads and the experience of owners who learned the hard way.
Why I wrote the guides
I kept giving the same advice one conversation at a time. Mobile Business Builders is that advice written down — in launch order, in plain English, with the specific questions to ask your county and the specific numbers to check on your own pricing.
